Allenby Pile Cutting
Condor Engineering were tasked by Allenby Construction to cut reinforced concrete piles on their site in Barton upon-Humber. Pile cutting is a method developed by Condor to give greater accuracy and precision than conventional pile cropping which is far less precise and requires the piles to be cut a second time to give the finish that our patented pile saws can give on one smooth cut.
The pile saw is housed inside a steel cage framework specially designed for the cutting of piles, the pile saw is made to be picked up by any Bobcat skid steer which allows much greater manoeuvrability in and between the piles compared to bigger machines. This allows no damage to be caused by treading over the already cut piles.
Our pile saw guarantees a cut with a allowance of +-3mm on every pile due to the design giving the operator maximum control over the level of the cut due to the 3 independent levelling legs on the pile saw.
This method of cutting piles removes the possibility of injury to your operatives thus improving the overall health and safety of your site.
Condor Engineering were able to cut all 400 piles in a week to the exacting level required by the client thus allowing the rest of the project to advance at a greater pace than if pile cropping had been used.
